In March 2024, makeup artist MARK EDIO welcomed photographer CHRIS WHITE to collaborate on an exploration of beauty-forward image-making. Without a predetermined concept, style, or goal, they began developing personal responses to the undefinable and subjective notions of “BEAUTY.”
Engaged with the fluid concepts surrounding individuality, identity, and self-expression, Edio and White cultivated an instinctual and organic creative process. Through this intuitive collaboration the landscape of BEAUTY was allowed to manifest naturally, authentically, and unfiltered. As the body of work began to breathe and evolve, SERIES emerged.
SERIES is a living platform—a continually evolving body of work, unconfined by trends or conventions—that will continue to unfold as a spontaneous and provocative vehicle for perspectives on the complexities of beauty.
